Pådriv
25 participants from leading Norwegian companies were hand picked to participate in a 2 ½ day innovation workshop. DoPurpose designed the process and facilitated the workshops. We also brought in Noam Gressel from Israel (dedicated to design, build and promote environmental excellence in the business arena) to inspire the participants which in a sense gave them permission to think big and to realize the seriousness of the matter outside of Norway. Work includes process design, workshop facilitation and concept development.

Challenge
Will trust make Oslo a front runner in urban sustainable development? PÅDRIV aims to increase the speed of urban sustainable development, by creating a large scale Beta:City with a multitude of holistic and integrated solutions, showing how we can cater to people, planet and profit - simultaneously.
Solution
The output after the workshops was 5 strong visions/frameworks that will give high priority to social sustainability since we are currently prioritizing economic and partly environmental sustainability in urban development.
The Outcome
Results: Beta:City is one of the 5 conceptual visions created during the workshops. Hovinbyen in Oslo will be a geographically defined urban area open to test new solutions, processes and regulations. A limited and concentrated zone will systemize testing and learning thereby increasing the likelihood of spreading knowledge and solutions for the world to implement.
